Fees & Rebates
Medicare rebated appointments are available
You do not need a referral to enquire about an appointment.
We can provide Medicare rebated appointments for clients with a mental health treatment plan (MHTP) and referral from their doctor (GP).
Under the Government’s Better Access Initiative, individuals are able to access mental health services with Medicare registered providers and receive a Medicare rebate. Eligible individuals are able to receive 6 to 10 sessions per calendar year (Jan to Dec.).
Consultation fees vary depending on the type of service/support provided and the length of appointment. Please contact us to discuss your requirements and for information as to what fees may apply to you.
NDIS clients who are either Plan Managed or Self Managed are welcome to contact us about appointments. You can find more information about our NDIS services on our NDIS webpage.
We endeavour to provide the best possible value for clients and offer exceptional service.
We are currently able to accept new clients.
Practice opening hours are Monday to Friday 9.00AM to 6.30PM
Out-of-hours appointments may be available on request, at additional cost.
Payment Policy
We are a private practice and do not receive Government funding to provide services.
Payment is required on the day of your appointment.
Preferred payment method is via bank transfer or EFTPOS (debit/credit card).
You are welcome to discuss other payment methods with us prior to your appointment.
Payment must be received for previous appointments (including non-attended appointments) before attending subsequent appointments.
Cancellation Policy
Our goal is to provide a high-quality service that is fair and equitable for our clients and ourselves.
Sometimes there are good reasons for cancelling appointments. However, unlike brief medical appointments, it is impracticable to fill a 50-minute psychologically focused counselling appointment at short notice.
Given that the time has been set aside for you, if you do not use it, then it is unlikely that it can be used by anyone else without adequate notice. Where clients provide less than 48-hours’ notice to cancel or change an appointment, or where you fail to attend an appointment, you will be billed for the appointment.
Please note: appointments that are not attended are ineligible for Medicare rebates.
Any cancellations or changes to appointments need to be made a minimum of 48-hours in advance.
In all cases, it remains the responsibility of clients to attend scheduled appointments and choosing to use our services is to accept these conditions.
